Ongoing structural and roofing renovation of a public park pavilion, including new roof system installation, exterior finishes, and full electrical integration.

Overview

This project involves the renovation of an outdoor public park structure in Coconut Creek, FL. In coordination with the general contractor, the scope includes structural upgrades, installation of a new roofing system, and completion of all associated exterior and electrical components.

The Challenge

The primary challenges include coordinating structural work in an open public environment, ensuring proper sequencing between framing, roofing, and finishes, and maintaining compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards throughout the construction process.

The Solution

Our team installed new roof trusses followed by a fire-rated underlayment system and a standing seam metal roof for durability and long-term performance. We also completed the framing required for the installation of wood ceiling finishes (shiplap) on the underside of the structure. Additionally, we installed all electrical components for this section, including lighting and switches. Exterior finishes were completed using stucco and trim details, ensuring a clean and durable final appearance aligned with project specifications.

The Outcome

The project is progressing as planned and is on track for completion. Once finalized, the structure will provide a safe, modern, and aesthetically enhanced space for public use, with a durable roofing system and upgraded structural integrity designed for long-term performance.
